Hi, my name is Tamara Catto, and I'm fundraising on behalf of Caroline Martin and her parents, Stephanie and Orin. As some of you may be aware, Caroline suffered a serious concussion last January, the effects of which continue to unfold. She is dealing with autonomic nervous system issues, vestibular issues (persistent dizziness, balance, etc.) and mental and physical fatigue, among other things. Since June she has lived at home and has not been able to work.

Unfortunately, the healthcare system does not provide much support for concussions and their secondary issues. I'm sorry to report that her healthcare provider has not offered many adequate treatments, so they have been forced to find out-of-pocket solutions. For example, they have found a wonderful neuro-physical therapist who specializes in post-concussion treatment. Out-of-pocket medical costs are over $3000 per month at this time.

For the last few months I have watched the Martins struggle with this situation and work hard to keep their spirits up. I know they are beloved members of our community, so I have taken the liberty of creating this GoFundMe. I know that many people would be happy to support them in this time of need if they were given an accessible way to do so. Thank you for any support you can give.
