Hey everyone! I'm here on behalf of my lovely friend Caroline, and if you're reading this it's pretty likely you know her too! This year has honestly been rough for her and we're all pretty proud of her for surviving it. 2025 started off with a bunch of friends rallying together to help move Caroline out of her ex's house. It was an awful situation and we're all glad she's out of there but the move depleted any savings she had left. And then it gets worse.

Back at the very beginning of the summer, Caroline, rather unexpectedly, lost her job. To top that off (because this year just can't stop giving), she had only transferred to the new company a few months before and hadn't been there long enough to receive unemployment. She's been tirelessly looking for a job, but it's been rejection after rejection and nothing has turned up yet.

To keep the bills paid she has been working her butt off to get into artist alleys and comic conventions to sell her art, and she has been scraping by--but October was too much, and she's not going to be able to pay rent. Between emergency vet bills and emergency dentist bills she needs help, and I know she doesn't want to ask for it, but friends don't let friends get evicted if they can do something about it so here we are. Rallying the friends.

The goal we've got set currently will not just help cover the rest of this months rent (she needs 1kish for that) but will help her get a jump on next months rent as well. This should also help cover her car payment, which is a biggie. Anything over the goal will go towards helping her catch up on bills, so if we can catch her up on bills...that would honestly be awesome!

If you're reading this and you've never met my lovely friend before she's crazy talented and pretty well known around the con community. She's a long time Momocon volunteer. You also might have spotted her cosplay at some point--Gigabyte cosplay--as she's a pro, and I know her Madame Leota has gone pretty big places at cons and around the internet. She's also the artist behind Hidden Talent Illustrations. She's super talented, bubbly as all get out, and honestly one of the sweetest people you'll meet in a day.
