my name is caroline emery. after being in constant pain for a year and a half, i was diagnosed with CRPS this last may. sadly, this is considered a rare illness. only 500,000 people in the US have this condition. CRPS (also known as complex regional pain syndrome) is a nervous system condition that causes issues like pain, temperature change, swelling, fatigue, and much more. the only way that my illness can go into remission at this point is through ketamine, which is not covered by insurance. i’m a 23 year old student who is unable to work as i cannot stand or walk without unbearable pain. i’m hoping to start treatment soon and any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!
