¡Hola Friends, Family, and Powerful Community!

My name is Carolina Veira, and I am thrilled to share an incredible opportunity that will help me grow as a leader and changemaker. I have been selected as one of the 50 participants accepted into the LBJ Women’s Campaign School at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. This nationally recognized, bipartisan program equips women leaders with the tools to run for office or manage political campaigns.

This transformational experience will allow me to build on my passion for empowering communities, driving systemic change, and increasing representation in leadership spaces where voices like ours need to be heard and valued.

Why This Matters

Those who know me know of my dedication to equity, access to health and opportunity, and financial inclusion. I deeply believe that diverse leaders create better policies, stronger communities, and a brighter future for all. Through this program, I will gain the skills, network, and strategies to step into higher leadership roles and continue driving meaningful change in the communities I serve today and the ones I will serve in the future.

The Need

While I am honored to have been accepted, I need your support to make this opportunity a reality. I am fundraising $3,000 to cover my program fees, hotel stay, and travel costs to Austin, Texas.

Thanks to generous supporters, the program is being subsidized and I am receiving scholarship support, leaving a remaining program fee of $1,800 that is my responsibility, in addition to hotel, meals, and travel which add up to an additional $1,200, for a total fee of $3,000.
