Hi, this is Britt and a few other dear friends reaching out on behalf of Carolina Cespedes , who lost nearly everything in a house fire in the early hours of March 15, 2025. In an instant, her Los Angeles home—filled with memories, clothes, and the little things that made it hers—went up in flames. Thankfully, she wasn't home when the fire occurred, but the damage is total: no walls, no roof, no safety net. She’s left with just her clothes and a heart full of shock. While her room was mostly spared from the flames themselves, the toxicity of the smoke has more than likely led to a near-complete loss of the contents inside.
Carolina is an amazing friend to us all and anyone who knows her loves her to pieces. She's always been there for others and now, she needs us. Unfortunately, there is no insurance to help with the costs, and savings can’t cover this loss. She’s facing weeks of displacement, replacing basics like toiletries, a bed, jackets, and finding a new place to live. We’re aiming for $10,000 to get her back on her feet—every bit helps: $20 buys essentials, $50 replaces a week’s groceries, $100 secures temporary housing.
I’ve seen her resilience, but this is too much to face alone. Your donation, no matter the size, rebuilds her life one step at a time. If you can’t give, please share this—your network could be her lifeline. We’ll keep you posted on how your generosity makes a difference.
Thank you for rallying around Caro in her darkest moment. Let’s show her she’s not alone.
With gratitude,
Team Carolina
