She arrived at her friend's home in Tri-City Heights to drop off some items, only to be confronted by her friend's adult son, who has a history of violence. Without warning, he took Carole’s phone, broke it in half, and threw her keys into a field. Carole managed to escape and call the police from a neighbor’s house, but the ordeal didn’t end there. While she was gone, he broke into her car, destroyed her tablet, and vandalized her vehicle, even smearing feces on the door handles and rear window. The emotional toll of this experience has been significant, leaving Carole shaken and in need of support.
