I am reaching out for help to support Carole, a loving mother who was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and is also legally blind. She recently lost her husband of 69 years, and this loss has made her condition worse. As her health has progressed, she now requires around-the-clock care to remain safe, comfortable, and cared for with dignity. At the moment, she only has the assistance of a home health aide for 8 hours a day and 5 hours on Sundays. Outside of those hours, her two devoted daughters work tirelessly to care for her themselves while also balancing jobs, responsibilities, and the emotional toll that comes with watching a parent’s health decline.

Unfortunately, 24-hour care is incredibly expensive, and the costs are currently being paid entirely out of pocket. The financial burden has become overwhelming, but her daughters remain committed to giving their mother the compassionate care she deserves. Every contribution will go directly toward expanding her care so she can receive the full-time support she urgently needs. Most importantly, we want to help this family spend less time worrying about financial stress and more time focusing on Carole’s comfort, safety, and quality of life.
