Help Carola Rebuild After Devastating Burglary At Her Home

Hi, my name is Carola, and I’m reaching out for your support during a very challenging time. Recently, my home was burglarized, and everything of value that I had worked so hard to acquire was stolen. Among the items taken were all my appliances, clothing, and jewelry, as well as my television, computer, and work tablet. These losses have been devastating, not only because of the financial impact but also because many of these items were essential to my daily life and work.

I am an immigrant from Venezuela, currently living in Patagonia, Argentina. As you can imagine, the journey to establish myself in a new country has not been easy. Every item I owned was the result of years of hard work. Unfortunately, the burglary has set me back significantly, and I now find myself in a position where I need help to rebuild.

My computer, in particular, was my most vital tool. As a designer, I relied on it for all my work, they also took the external drive where I was storing projects, designs, and creative ideas. Losing it means I’m unable to continue with my profession, which is not only a source of income but also a passion I’ve nurtured for years. The money I’m hoping to raise will go directly toward replacing my stolen items, especially the tools I need to get back to work.

Living in Patagonia presents its own unique challenges, especially when it comes to the harsh weather conditions. Warm and technical clothing is essential to endure the cold, and unfortunately, these were among the items stolen. Replacing them will be costly, but it is crucial for my day-to-day life.
