Help Carol while she battles breast & lung Cancer

She laughs the hardest, loves her people fiercely, and is a bright light in the lives of those around her. In spite of Carol’s recent battle with breast and lung cancer, her optimism, joy, and kindness continue to overflow to the people - and the world - around her.
 
Carol and her family, who simply adore her, are fighting to stay positive amidst what began as a very tragic situation. Unfortunately, medical testing failed Carol as the pea-sized lump in her breast was initially mid-diagnosed and medical imaging came back “negative” time and time again. Carol’s concern continued to grow along with the lump in her breast, and it wasn’t until a rash developed that doctors began to seriously investigate the area further. It was a year and a half before Carol was FINALLY properly diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It was at that time that the scans also came back with more heartbreaking news - a cancerous tumor was also found in her lung.

Carol immediately began a rigorous treatment plan for 2 primary cancers and is currently finishing up 4 months of aggressive chemo therapy which leaves her feeling like she was hit by the worst case of a never-ending flu. She has been forced to quit her house cleaning business, which was her main source of income, and is now completely drowning in medical bills. Her limited insurance and huge deductible don’t even begin to cover the cost of chemo, or her upcoming surgeries including a mastectomy and removal of part of her lung.
