Hello everyone! My name is Cindy and I’m organizing this fundraising on behalf of my sister, Carol. She is a 15 years old teenager, who was recently diagnosed with a severe case of scoliosis with 90 degrees of curvature. The doctors say that there is no way, other than surgery, to correct her posture and relief her pain (55 degrees are already surgical cases). Her case is urgent, and she needs it before she completes 17 years of age. The total costs are US$30,000 and we hope to raise the money with your help since we can’t afford the treatment on our own. She is in constant pain and getting depressed. Consequently, she doesn’t want to go to school anymore. We hope that, with the surgery, she can recover soon and have a normal teenage life.
