Carol the colony cat has been a cherished member of our Brooklyn waterfront colony for many years. As she enters her senior years, Carol has started losing weight and is having a very difficult time eating. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle, and it’s likely that she needs a dental procedure to relieve her pain and help her regain her health. Dentals are unfortunately very expensive, but they can absolutely change the life of an animal—no more pain or infection in their mouth means a happier, healthier cat.

Carol is currently receiving medical help, and we’re hopeful that with proper care, she’ll recover and become more comfortable around people. If she becomes more friendly, there’s a chance she could find a loving indoor home, which would be the best outcome for her as she grows older. We don’t want Carol to suffer, and we’re committed to giving her the best possible chance at a happy, pain-free life.
