Help Carol Stanley Heal and Recover
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Amy, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for our mom, Carol Stanley.
On Monday, July 22 at 1 am, while she was staying with me and my family to spend time with the grandkids, I returned home from a concert to find my mom in distress. Her face was purple, she couldn’t breathe, and she was sweating profusely. I immediately called 911. When the ambulance arrived, her oxygen level was at a dangerously low 46%.
After four days in the hospital, undergoing steroids, antibiotics, breathing treatments, and extensive bloodwork, we discovered she had suffered from a heart attack. We learned she is pre-diabetic and has COPD. The doctors also performed an angiogram and found one artery completely blocked and another with over 80% blockage. They placed two stents to address these critical issues.
My mom is now home with several medications, breathing treatments, and inhalers, but without insurance, the hospital stay has resulted in a substantial medical expense. We hope to alleviate some of this burden and provide her with the comfort she needs to take it slow and focus on recovery in the upcoming days and weeks.
Anyone who knows my mom knows she never asks for help and would give her last of anything to someone in need. Now, it is our turn to help her. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in her recovery journey.
Our family thanks you for your love and support.
