My Mother-In-Law, Carol Darnielle recently went through something incredibly serious and life-threatening.

She suffered a torn aorta and had to undergo emergency open-heart surgery.. a procedure with very high risk and a long, uncertain outcome. We are so grateful to say that she made it through surgery, but she is currently in the ICU and not yet awake as her body begins the healing process.

The road ahead is going to be long. She is expected to remain in the hospital for at least a couple of weeks, followed by an extended recovery period where she will need ongoing care and support.

This situation was completely unexpected, and she does not have income or financial resources to cover the medical bills or basic living expenses during this time. Between the cost of surgery, ICU care, medications, and everyday needs, the financial strain is significant.

We are asking for support to help carry some of that weight so she can focus fully on healing.
