Carol is currently in need of financial assistance to remain in her apartment until she is able to move into subsidized housing in Little Rock, Arkansas. Many of you who know Carol may not realize the extent of what she’s facing—she tends to put on a brave face, never wanting to burden others, but the reality is that she needs support right now.

Carol comes from a hard-working family background, having spent years in a family business where 12-hour days were the norm. Over the last few years, however, she has encountered a series of challenges that have deeply impacted her health and stability. Following a serious health episode, she was served divorce papers by her ex-husband—an event that led her to relocate to Texas to live with family due to a significant drop in income.

The combination of stress and chronic health conditions—fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and chemical sensitivity—has taken a toll. Despite her efforts to manage her health, she was recently hospitalized again and diagnosed with congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, and elevated blood sugar.

Through all of this, Carol continues to persevere. Our goal is to help her remain in her current apartment until her turn on the waiting list comes and the move to Arkansas becomes possible.
