My name is Camilla Downs, a friend of Carole's. I'm writing this for her, as it was difficult for her to ask for help. I created this in Carole's name rather than my own for ease and swiftness of Carole receiving the money.  Carole will be writing more in the next few days. I'll upload it for her as soon as I get it.

Carole is in stage 4 of cancer. Her recent brain cancer results were good, but maintenance chemo failed and she has been taken off of that. It is now returning in various other places.  Carole and her friends ask for your financial assistance in helping to pay for alternative treatment. Time is of the essence for Carole at this point. Thank you to all who help.

Carole has been an amazing support to the local community for many years, sharing her expertise as a Feldenkrais professional. She is a giver by nature, and it was incredibly difficult for her to ask for help. She has helped my family on more than one occasion, and my son and I have attended one of her Feldy classes. We want to help Carole.

More from Carole: I’ve spent the last  decade  trying to help as  many people as possible use their bodies with more self-awareness, ease, safety and confidence. It's very hard not to be able to teach now. I feel so sad about it.

I’ve been teaching 3-4 Feldy Awareness Through Movement classes a week in Reno since 2009. I’ve worked with Melinda doing Feldenkrais and equine guided learning on a volunteer basis with at risk teens for 3 years. It was one of my most profound experiences. My biggest thrill in this work is empowering people to move better and be healthier as they learn to sense their bodies and find inner connection and balance. It can be both a physical fitness and a spiritual pathway.
