Hello, my good friend Carol is in dire need of a new prosthetic eye. Unfortunately, she does not currently have the funds to purchase one which she needs to prevent from getting a bad infection or sickness. Carol's life story has been extremely tumultuous and difficult for her. She was born and raised in Jamaica and at the age of 32, she owned a lumber yard. One day while at work, she was attacked by two men, who poured battery acid on her face while leaving her blind and disfigured. She stayed in a hospital in Jamaica for four months in hope of them being able to restore her sight to no avail. Out of money but not out of hope, Carol boarded a plane for the United States and searched for medical aid. Although doctors tried their best to restore her sight, it was to no avail. After moving around the country for a bit she finally settled in Fullerton, California. In the past, she has been receiving aid from fellow members of EV Free church and the sales from her book Face of Hope. Unfortunately for Carol, a new prosthetic eye is currently out of the question based on her current financial situation. It would mean the world to both her and us if you would be able to pitch in and help her achieve her goal.
