Help Carol Give Cancer the Boot

This is my best friend, Carol. She wears many hats in life. She is a mama, a yogi, teacher of yoga and holder of space, and most recently, rollerskating enthusiast.
Carol has always been there for me, even though we live thousands of miles apart. She was there for me in my darkest moments, often holding space just through the medium of a Facetime/Whatsapp screen.
These days, though, it is she who needs my support, and I'd like to do more than just be there for her through a phone screen.
You see, Carol, my best friend, was diagnosed with breast cancer a week ago. This week she starts her treatments and chemotherapy, which will continue for the next 4 to 5 months. During this period, her partner, Donovan, will be taking time off of work in order to care for her and their little daughter.
I desperately wish I could personally be with her to help out as she goes through this journey, but I also know that donating what I can towards Carol's expenses is probably the best way to help.
Our group of friends has decided to create this GoFundMe as a way to help with Carol's living costs as she goes through chemotherapy. While some of the treatment will be covered by her health plan, there are various clinical and lab tests, as well as her family's daily expenses at home (rent, groceries, medicines) - costs that will pile up, especially as she and Donovan will be unable to earn any income while the treatment is ongoing and even during Carol's road to recovery.
We estimate that their monthly expenses are at least $1000 (Php 50,000) up to $1500 (Php 75,000). Right now we hope to be able to raise enough month by month to help them breathe a little easier.
We understand money can be tight, especially in this time of pandemic, so please know that even $10 (Php 500) goes a long way.
