Help Carol Get a Prosthetic Eye
Donation protected
If you know Carol, you know that she is one of the most amazing, hilarious, generous, friendly people you will ever meet. She and I met on study abroad, and we've been great friends for almost 20 years. Many of you are aware that Carol was attacked and stabbed multiple times—including in her eye—in 2016.
When Carol was stabbed, the knife went through her eye and into her skull, and Carol has had chronic migraines since. At the time of the attack, the doctors were able to save Carol's eye, even though she is blind in it. However, now the time has come for Carol to get a prosthetic eye, as she is in constant pain. He doctor highly recommends surgeries to remove her eye and implant a prosthetic eye, as he believes this will greatly reduce or stop Carol's never-ending migraines. Surgeries are always expensive, and one prosthetic eye can cost $5,000–10,000! Any amount you can donate will be incredibly helpful so that Carol can have these necessary surgeries.
All of the money raised will be given directly to Carol for her to pay for her prosthetic eye and eye surgeries. Carol is such an amazing person, and any amount we can give her I'm sure will help immensely. And even if you don't have the ability to donate right now, please spread the word about this campaign. With the friendship and joy Carol has given all of us, I hope we can all band together to send love and hope back Carol's way.
Thank you!!
