Our family is asking for support for Carol, who is currently battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

If you know Carol, you know she’s absolutely hilarious and always keeps people laughing. She has a quick wit and a personality that can lighten even the toughest moments. That humor has become one of the things helping her and our family get through such a difficult time.

Because of her diagnosis, Carol has been unable to work. Despite the seriousness of her condition, she has been denied disability benefits twice, and the family is now trying to find an attorney to help appeal the decision.

In the meantime, everyday bills don’t stop. Rent, utilities, groceries, and other household expenses continue to add up while she focuses on her health. Our family has been helping as much as possible, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

We created this fundraiser to help ease that burden and give Carol and her family some breathing room during this incredibly challenging time.

Funds raised will help cover things like:

• Utilities and groceries

• Transportation and daily living expenses

• Legal costs to pursue disability benefits
