Carol Anne Atkey Munro

Over seven years ago Carol had a severe stroke. After a very active life skiing, swimming, hiking, sewing and a healing practice helping others she found herself learning to walk with her left side mostly paralyzed. She was gifted with a power wheelchair that gave her some independence. Now her wheelchair, after many repairs, needs to be replaced. On her Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplement she needs financial help to replace the wheelchair. This would enable her to continue going to the gym five days a week, volunteering at the Seniors Activity Centre, and being able to go for groceries, to various appointments, meeting friends, visiting the ocean or forest.
