My name is Carmen. Kassi and I had the deepest bond. She was my best friend. Even through her struggles, she was my best friend. She had such a light about her, she touched everyone she met. Her laugh, her smile, her goofiness, her jokes, her ambition. Everything about her was the absolute best.

We lost a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend. And a damn good one at that. Now it’s time to get her home, with her son, and mother where she belongs.
