These past few months Carmen Santos had been struggling with stomach pains. When she finally went to see the doctor they diagnosed her with gall bladder stones which were eventually removed. Unfortunately the pain continued and also worsened. She is currently hospitalized due to an infection that can potentially induce sepsis or even death. Carmen Santos is a caring mother, wife, aunt and friend who is deeply missed back home. Unfortunately Carmen Santos does not have health insurance and can not be transferred to the appropriate hospital due to costs. However her transfer is dependent on COST AND TIME, anything would be highly appreciated. We hope to alleviate some stress from the Castaneda family from hospitalization costs as they navigate through these unprecedented times. Thank you we look forward to better news. 

Update: My aunt was transferred to one of the best hospitals in the area and she’s slowly but surely making progress. The family as a whole is very thankful for you all who have donated and kept our loved one in your thoughts and prayers.

Estos últimos meses, Carmen Santos había estado padeciendo de dolores de estómago. Cuando fue a ver al médico le diagnosticaron piedras en la vesícula y fue sometida a una cirugía. Desgraciadamente, el dolor continuó y también empeoró. Actualmente está hospitalizada debido a una infección que puede provocar una sepsis o incluso la muerte. Carmen Santos es una madre, esposa, tía y amiga a quien extrañamos mucho en casa. Lamentablemente, Carmen Santos no tiene seguro médico y no puede ser trasladada al hospital adecuado debido a los costos. Sin embargo su traslado depende del COSTO Y EL TIEMPO, cualquier cosa sería muy apreciada. Actualización: Mi tía fue trasladada a uno de los mejores hospitales de la area de la Bahia y está progresando. Como su familia, estamos muy agradecida a todos los que han donado y mantenido a nuestro ser querido en sus pensamientos y oraciones
