On July 16th my husband and daughter woke up and headed out to work. Never in my mind did I think I would receive that call at 5:15am from Carmen letting me know that they have been involved in a car wreck and totaled her car. From what the officers told us it was a drunk driver that hit them head on and then Carmen got out the car and another car struck Carmen. They had to lift a car up to get her out from underneath, but by the grace of our Lord and Savior they both are talking to us. As of now Carmen has 3 fractured ribs, Two parts on her left arm broken, she dislocated her pelvic, there are some issues with her Spleen and cuts. As for Henry he has a minor internal head bleed, broken hip, he also injured his spine and a bunch of cuts on his arm. He will be going into a spinal surgery this afternoon and then he will have to go thru another surgery for his hip. They have notified us that he will be out of work for awhile maybe 3-4 months or more and that is why we are doing this gofund me account to help us out. We as a family will be needing this help since he is our main provider.
