Hello,

My name is Herman, and I'm reaching out on behalf of two of the most generous and kind-hearted people I know — Carmelo and Giuseppa.

Carmelo and Giuseppa came to America in 2012 with a dream to build a better life. Through hard work and perseverance, Giuseppa proudly became a U.S. citizen (Carmelo is working on establishing his), and they quickly became a pillar of support to anyone around them. Even when they had very little themselves, they gave freely — offering help, resources, and love to anyone who needed it.

Giuseppa worked tirelessly in cleaning services and later at a local supermarket. She never complained, always showed up with a smile, and quietly served her community with dignity and pride. Sadly, due to ongoing health issues, she is no longer able to work.

Carmelo, a skilled handyman in construction, suffered a devastating heart attack on the job. With only 30% of his heart now functioning, he is unable to continue working — the very thing he loved doing and relied on to provide for his family. He is now burdened with overwhelming medical bills, and each day brings more expenses that they simply cannot afford.

Right now, Carmelo and Giuseppa are struggling to cover the most basic necessities: medical prescriptions, mortgage payments, their car, and even daily living expenses. They are facing the unthinkable — losing everything they’ve worked so hard to build.

This is where we, their friends, neighbors, and compassionate community, come in.

I’m humbly asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to helping Carmelo and Giuseppa stay in their home, access the medical care they desperately need, and make it through this incredibly difficult time with dignity and hope.
