For the past nine years, Carly and Hayley, the incredible sisters behind Impress Rooms, have been making Merseyside’s party dreams come true. Their small family business wasn’t just a service—it was a source of joy, wonder, and magic for countless celebrations. Every weekend, every minute, they poured their hearts into creating the most magical, thoughtful, and handcrafted party setups the city has ever seen.

This year, after nearly a decade of tireless dedication, Carly and Hayley decided to close the doors of Impress Rooms. They were ready to enjoy well-deserved family weekends and explore new careers, with the final sale of their handcrafted stock marking the end of this beautiful chapter in their lives. Any funds from this sale were meant to help them transition into new careers.

Their unit, which spanned three large rooms, was filled with stock ready to be passed on to new owners. This week was planned to be a grand open house event, where all of the beautiful stock would be sold.

But tragedy struck. This past weekend, a fire broke out in the unit next to theirs. Although Carly and Hayley can access their unit, the lack of electricity for up to a month is severely hindering any recovery process. The smoke from the fire has damaged much of their carefully crafted stock and there is no insurance to cover. As a result, they’ve had to put all pre-agreed sales on hold until they can assess what can be salvaged, and have also been forced to cancel the open days they had planned for selling the remaining stock. Not only are they now facing the overwhelming costs of clearing the unit and using specialist equipment, but they are also unable to afford the expense of replacing the damaged stock.

Instead of moving forward, Carly and Hayley are now facing a heart-breaking loss. The cost of clearing their large unit, renting skips, and using specialist equipment is overwhelming. And even after all that, much of their precious stock, which was organized and ready to be passed on, may be unsalvageable.

These incredible women have given us so much—hundreds of mind-blowing party setups, countless memories, and endless joy. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
