Hello everyone.

Around 10pm on October 21st, my best friend of over a decade and her family lost the home they are living in to an electrical house fire. Everyone is in shock as they processes this overwhelming loss.

The Wood family needs support more than ever as the house has been ruled as a total loss.

If you know Carly, you know she is the most generous, compassionate, and kind person you will ever meet. She would give the shirt off her back to help a stranger. My heart is broken for her and her family.

Carly lives with her mom Suzy, her mom’s boyfriend Michael, and younger cousin Dylan along with two dogs, three cats, and a snake. Thankfully everyone is safe, including all animals, but one cat who is still missing. They do not have renters insurance.

Currently, they are in need of toiletries, dog food, cat food, food, clothing, and financial help with short term/long term housing, medications, and other financial burdens due to the fire.

If you know Carly or the Wood family, you know she’s not the type to ask for help, which is why this fundraiser was started on her behalf. Every donation will go directly toward helping Carly and her family recover and find new housing. Your support will make a real difference in their lives as they navigate this difficult time.
