Please help my cousin Carlos to bury his deceased newborn son and to care for his wife who is in critical condition. After years of treatment and trying to get pregnant, my cousin and his wife were finally able to conceive a baby. However, 3 weeks ago, at almost 7 months of pregnancy, his wife got infected with the COVID-19 virus and it was not detected in time. This past Friday, she was taken to the ER and had to be put on a ventilator because she couldn't breathe and was on the verge of life and death. The doctors had to perform an emergency C-section in an attempt to save her and her baby. Unfortunately, due to complications throughout this whole process, the baby died because of a heart attack a day later. His wife on the other hand survived, but is in a critical condition. My cousin is drowning with medical debt and the burial costs for his son. I am asking anyone who can, to please contribute with whatever you can (nothing is too small, every cent counts). We might not be able to help him with the emotional wounds of this tragedy, but with the help of those who can donate, we can at least help alleviate the financial stress in these trying times.

At this moment, my cousin is the only one working in the family and he barely makes enough for them to get by. Because his wife will be hospitalized for an undetermined amount of time, he will be needing 10,000 USD to help pay for the already accumulated debt, the recovery treatment costs for his wife, as well as the burial costs for his son.
