Before I was able to start college, I suffered from a ruptured aneurysm, and I had to take a year off from schooling. I had a level 4 subacharanoid hemarage, and had to have brain surgery to save my life. 

Ever since I was given the chance to live, I knew I had to do big things with my life. My goal is to touch as many lives as I possibly can. The way I do that is through my music. 

I heard about this study abroad program from a friend. It has always been a dream if mine to go and study in the birthplace of opera. I immediately thought that I couldn't do it though because I am not exactly the most fortunate person when it comes to financials. I have struggled with making ends meet my entire life. 

But I also thought, this is an opportunity that may never come again. I am determined to go, and really hone my craft as a singer and a performer. 

I am not going to ask for a lot from anybody. Absolutely anything will help. Thank you all so much!
