Our dear friend and co-worker, Carlos, recently faced an emergency when his appendix suddenly burst. He was rushed into emergency surgery, which saved his life — but it left him with a hospital bill of $46,000 which has thankfully now been reduced to $23,000.

Carlos is currently without insurance coverage, and the cost of his surgery is entirely out-of-pocket leaving him with the bill of $23,000! He works incredibly hard every day holding 2 jobs, supporting himself and contributing to our community. He is humble, kind, and never one to ask for help — but right now, he truly needs it.
