Help Carlos & Elizabeth Smith with storm damages

On July 23,2023 our parents home was affected by a severe thunderstorm. This storm knocked down more than 30 poles on the southwest side of Tucson, leaving thousands without power for a couple days. Tearing away half of the roof to their home, causing their bedroom and other parts of the home to be exposed. Water damage in their master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room area. The storm also affected the roof to our fathers workshop. Fortunately no one was home during the storm. Our parents were out of town celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary. They are left heartbroken knowing they may possibly lose their home where they have lived for 30 years, raising their children and grandchildren there. Their home is not suitable due to the current conditions of their home. Please we’re asking for help during this difficult time to raise as much as we can for our parents to rebuild their home or possibly buy another home. Thank you everyone. El 23 de julio de 2023, la casa de nuestros padres se vio afectada por una fuerte tormenta. Esta tormenta derribó más de 30 postes en el lado suroeste de Tucson, dejando a miles sin electricidad durante un par de días. Arranco la mitad del techo de su casa, su dormitorio y otras partes de la casa quedaron expuestas. Daños por agua en su dormitorio principal, baño, cocina y sala. La tormenta también afectó el techo del taller de nuestros padre. Afortunadamente nadie estaba en casa durante la tormenta. Nuestros padres estaban fuera de la ciudad celebrando su 31 aniversario de boda. Se les rompe el corazón sabiendo que posiblemente perderán su hogar donde han vivido durante 30 años, criando a sus hijos y nietos allí. En este momento no pueden vivir en su casa debido a las condiciones. Estamos pidiendo ayuda durante este momento difícil para recaudar todo lo que podamos para que nuestros padres reconstruyan su casa o posiblemente compren otra casa. Gracias a todos.
