Hi, my name is Haily Pruitt and I am the sister to Jessica Diaz and sister in law to Carlos Diaz. As most of you may know, Carlos is currently fighting for his life at Loyola Medical Center. He underwent a long 9 hour open heart surgery to replace a non functioning valve in his heart and sadly, did not receive outcome we have all hoped for. Due to him being on dialysis for many years his body has become very sick. Along with that, his heart is also very sick. He is currently in the ICU in critical condition, but is stable. Things are being taken hour by hour and hoping for the best outcome. We all know Carlos and the first thing he is going to worry about when he pulls through is getting back to work to support his girls. I am hoping we can give him a little relief so he can pull through and just focus on his tough road ahead. He is a 33 year old father to three young girls who need him at home with them. Work should be the last thing on his mind when he wakes up.
