Help Carlos cover medical and monthly expenses

Hey Everyone, I'm Brad; Carlos' best friend and roommate.

Last Thursday night on his way home from work, Carlos was hit by a truck while biking home. His leg was shattered, and sustained some other minor injuries. He was put into a medically induced coma, and his family came from California to stay with him.

This was a hit and run incident and we still do not know who the driver of the truck was.

We're still waiting to learn a lot of the details and understand what Carlos' recovery is going to look like, but we know he has a long road ahead of him. If you know Carlos, you know how full of life he is and how much joy and happiness he brings to the lives of everyone around him. While we wait to learn more, we wanted to start this fundraiser to help support him as he begins his recovery.

Carlos works in food service, bikes to work, and spends all day on his feet. We know this recovery is going to mean he won't be able to go back into work until he heals. Carlos gives so much to the people around him, so we thought we could start a fundraiser for him, as a way of giving back to him in a moment where he could really use our help.

I'll be posting more updates as we learn more. We really appreciate your support as we wait to hear more. All money raised will be going to meeting Carlos' immediate needs.
