Update: Help Carlo in his last journey.
Help Carlo Say Goodbye with Dignity ️

Update:
Sadly, the situation has changed. Carlo passed away on July 2nd. His family is now facing the emotional burden of loss, along with the financial strain of funeral expenses and outstanding debts. Unfortunately, the insurance will not cover any of the costs due to his terminal condition.

The family is deeply grateful for any support during this difficult time.
We are keeping the original message below, as it shares a part of Carlo’s story and who he was.

Aktualizacja:

Family of Carlo

A Loving Husband. A Quiet Fighter. A Final Wish.

My name is Carlo, and I never thought I’d be writing something like this. But life has taken a turn no one could prepare for.

In August of last year, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. The doctors gave me hope — maybe a year, even five with treatment. I held onto that hope with everything I had. I went through chemo and fought as hard as I could.

But the cancer spread — to my lungs, bones, liver, and lymph nodes. Now, my lungs are failing. Every breath is difficult. And I’ve been told I may have just a few months left — maybe even only weeks.

Despite everything, what hurts most is not the pain or fear. It’s watching my family carry the burden — financially, emotionally, completely — just to keep me going.
• My wife took out a high-interest loan to keep our only car, so she could drive me to hospital appointments. She’s now at risk of losing it.
• My mother-in-law and sister-in-law stepped in when no one else would. Now they’re both in debt.
• We received little help from the state, and we’ve done everything we can on our own.

This isn’t a huge campaign for a miracle. I know the time I have left is short. But I would love to give my wife just one thing in return:

To clear her €3,000 car debt, so she doesn’t lose the one thing that’s kept us moving — literally.
To give her a chance to say goodbye, without drowning in bills.
To lift this small but heavy weight, so she can grieve without losing everything.

If you’re able to help in any way, big or small — thank you. Truly. Even €5 makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this would mean the world to us.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.

With love and humility,
Carlo and family
