HELP CARLITOS WAY IN HIS RECOVERY JOURNEY

Hi, my name is Alida and I am fundraising for Carlitos Way

In a journey to recover from a lower back injury since early March , one day Carlitos found himself out of breath and with allergies signs on his legs. From a consultation with Acupuncturist , he was sent to GP, from GP to Emergency Department and then, he could not get out of the Hospital. All ended up in a discovery of a life threatening heart condition : Two valves of his heart had a severe infection and as a result they were not working properly, also his lungs had fluids.

A major surgery was performed to replace those two valves with metal ones, and now he is in a process of recovery. This process is slow, difficult and involves the use of attached device to his body allowing a direct intravenous supply of medicines.

He will not be able to work for a time that is undefined, the recovery process also include some upcoming medical bills, as well as everyday expenses. Not being able to perform his day job as well as Music performances is psychologically draining and demanding.

Whether you're a friend, co-worker or a fan of Carlitos’ music, you already know what a kind heart this man has, and that he would be the first to step up to help if any of us were in his shoes.

While we are hopeful for a full recovery for Carlitos, we must say he will be extremely grateful for any contribution and support that he may receive in this difficult time of his life.
