Help Carline and Ronald Swift pay for Cancer care

Ronald and Carline Swift are long-time residents of Norwich, VT. Ronald worked at Dan & Whits for over 40 years and was born in Union Village. Carline was born in Lebanon, NH, she was a stay-at-home mom and worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock in the patient resource department. Ronald is well known for his sense of sarcasm and his favorite motto was "if we don't have it, you don't need it" which is still used at Dan and Whit's to this day. He loved to ride off into the sunset on his motorcycle as well as hunt and fish. Carline loves her books, puzzles, and working in her garden beds she is always smiling.
Carline received a diagnosis at the end of December 2022 with stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized. She is currently receiving chemotherapy and has undergone radiation and is struggling through this. We are all shaken by this news, but none of us are more shaken than her and her family. Aside from cancer being a scary diagnosis, the financial implications a diagnosis had for an individual are just as terrifying. She is anticipating recovering with spring coming when she can be outside and enjoy her flowers, the birds and the sun.
Back in 2010 Ron had a sudden brain aneurysm and was able to beat it but needed to be in rehab for a year to learn to walk, talk and basically start over.
Ron was living at home with Carline who was his caretaker for the past 13 years but upon Carline's diagnosis, has been moved to an assisted living facility for his care. It has been a roller coaster for them and now with them not being together, it's even worse.
We are currently waiting to find out how the treatments are working, but in the meantime, we are asking for help to alleviate the financial strains that are a burden while Carline fights to beat this!
