This was the last photo taken on monday morning before they were rescued, the water went up another 2 metres after this. 


My name is Sarah Daley and I am the sister of Carlie Daley, a single mum with two kids - Omar (13) and Luna (9) in Lismore, Northern NSW. On Monday 28th February 2022 the family woke at 5am in the morning to water coming into their home, and they were rescued by a man on a canoe one by one just in time. Carlie just moved into this home a few years ago. She is struggling financially as it is, being a single mum supporting her family. Carlie doesn't have any financial back up, and there is going to be a big road ahead to reconstruct her house and replace lost goods as the water went nearly to the ceiling. This was an unforeseen event as never in history has flood water entered her house.
 
If you could contribute anything, this would make a world of difference to a family who have been through such a big tragedy, and would like to access their home again.... Carlie is going to be given all the funds to reconstruct her house, her walls have needed to  be taken out due to mould,  her bathroom needs to be rebuilt and all her belongings need to be replaced including all white goods and furniture and children's clothes and belongings. Any help would be appreciated.
