Hello! My name is Carleigh Chadwick and I am 11 years old. I have been given the honor to travel to Washinton D.C. this summer to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference due to my academic achievements and leadership skills. This conference is held to honor the most exceptional middle school students in the nation. During my time in D.C., I will learn how to become a better leader and improve my skills to solve complex problems. I will build a team with other students and work on my public speaking skills. I will also have the opportunity to learn more about the history of our country by visiting museums and Mount Vernon. This trip will help me in the future with getting in to a good high school and college. The donations I receive will be used to pay for my tuition and the funds to get there and back.
