Help Carla afford private treatment for seizures

Hello we are Becks and Nikki,

We have know Carla a looooooooong time! Mainly in a hockey capacity but more so as an amazing friend!

 

Recently Carla has been having seizures resulting (as you can see by the photos) in damage to her face and body, her life completely changing and her dream of being a Paramedic taken away.

Her seizures started 18 months ago with  two totally out of the blue.

She fractured arm and fractured her eye socket during both of these.

She was seizure free for about 7 months then had another and had a really bad facial injury.

Then since June she has had 19 SEIZURES with  hairline fractures to her eye socket, cheek bone, cuts bruises, black eyes and broken arms.

 

As you probably all agree it’s heartbreaking to watch as she posts pictures of her battered face after each seizure.

 

 

She has had multiple tests with the NHS who have been amazing with her but the waiting list to be seen by the specialist is devastatingly long (6-12 months).

 

And whilst she waits the seizures keep occurring!!!!

 

We have set up this go fund me to help her to afford to see a private specialist and hopefully find a diagnosis and be treated to stop these seizures.
