From Homeless to Off-Grid: Building a Sanctuary of Light and Sustainability

> “I dream of a home grown from the Earth itself — a sanctuary surrounded by light, plants, and peace. A place to live simply, love deeply, and share what I’ve learned about resilience and renewal.”

Hello, my name is Carla, and I’m currently unhoused in Las Vegas, Nevada — but I carry a vision much larger than my current circumstances.

I dream of creating an off-grid, self-sustaining home built within a living greenhouse — a place where nature and shelter become one. This vision represents rebirth, healing, and freedom — proof that it’s possible to rebuild life from the ground up, in harmony with the Earth.

Living without a home has taught me how little we truly need to live meaningfully, and how much peace we can find when we reconnect with the land. My goal is to purchase a small piece of affordable land in Nevada or nearby Arizona where I can begin building a solar-powered, water-harvesting sanctuary surrounded by organic food gardens.

This project is more than a personal dream — it’s a living example of what’s possible when we live in balance with nature. I plan to document my journey, share what I learn, and one day open the space to others who wish to live sustainably, heal, and find freedom.

Funds Will Go Toward:

Purchasing a small parcel of land for off-grid living

Building a tiny eco-home surrounded by a greenhouse

Installing solar panels and rainwater collection

Tools, materials, and a small trailer or shelter to start

Your support will help me create not only a home but a model of hope — proof that resilience and beauty can grow from hardship.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the vision. Every share plants a seed. Every seed helps something grow.

Thank you for seeing me, for believing in new beginnings, and for helping me build a home rooted in peace, purpose, and love.

With gratitude and light,

Carla
