Our dear friend, Carla Collins, has been diagnosed with stage 2-3 breast cancer.

She underwent surgery today to have a port put in, and tomorrow she will start her first chemotherapy treatment.

As many of you know, Carla is a wonderful mother to two girls, Bristel and Maggie Montgomery. She’s always been able to make ends meet, but as a single mother of two teenage girls, rent, utilities, etc., still have to be paid. She is going to be out of work for some time. Unfortunately, the bills don’t stop with the diagnosis of cancer.

Even $1.00 makes a difference! Due to the circumstances, they (Social Security) are trying to expedite paperwork that will give her some help with her bills while she is going through chemotherapy and her recovery.
