Sweet baby Carl developed a urinary blockage which is a life-threatening condition that can kill a cat within hours if not treated. When we noticed Carl struggling to use his litter box, we rushed him to the vet. The veterinarian explained that he needed emergency surgery to relieve the blockage, or he wouldn’t survive the night. Carl was put under anesthesia for the procedure which was a scary experience for all of us, and thankfully, he pulled through.

Carl was transferred to an overnight animal hospital for 72 hours of intensive care. He will need to have a prescription diet for the rest of his life.
