Carl Myers has been a close friend of our family for many years, working alongside my husband at Graphic Packaging for about a decade. Recently, Carl’s life has taken a difficult turn—he’s developed severe breathing issues and now faces the daunting prospect of needing a double lung transplant.

The road ahead is long and uncertain. Carl will soon need to temporarily relocate to Houston for a series of tests to determine if he qualifies for the transplant. The costs are overwhelming: travel expenses, housing in a new city, and mounting medical bills are quickly adding up.
