On July 1st, 2024, a dear family friend received the devastating news that their beloved Carl Jr. — a son, brother, nephew, and friend to many — was diagnosed with an aggressive and unexplained kidney disease.

At just 23 years old, Carl has always been a clean-cut young man who took great pride in caring for his body, dedicating himself to a life of discipline and purpose.

In the months leading up to his diagnosis, Carl began experiencing sudden tiredness, fatigue, unbearable headaches, excessive vomiting, and unexplained weight loss.

With no known cause for his illness, doctors informed Carl that he urgently needed a kidney transplant in order to survive.

By the grace of God, a close friend (Bryan Trew) stepped forward without hesitation to be tested — and is a perfect donor match for Carl!

Now, as Carl prepares for this life-saving transplant, he faces many unknowns, including the possibility of additional surgeries and ongoing medical care.

The family is now reaching out for support to help with:
