Help Carl, Jamie, and their daughter in this hard time....

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but my brother Carl and his family need help—and they need it now!

Jamie was recently in a terrible accident, that turned their lives upside down in an instant. She broke her leg and neck which left her in a coma and on a respirator for a couple of days. She fortunately is awake but unable to move. Jamie is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery, unable to work, and overwhelmed by medical bills and basic living costs. Her partner is doing everything he can to keep things together, but with their sweet 8-year-old daughter depending on them, the weight is just too heavy to carry alone.

Carl has always been strong. He steps up for anyone in need. Seeing him and Jamie in pain, both physically and emotionally, is heartbreaking. Carl worries less about himself and more about how this is affecting his & Jamie’s daughter, how they are going to pay rent, keep the lights on, put food on the table.

We are trying to raise enough to get them through the next few months—to give them a little breathing room to heal without the constant fear of losing everything. Every donation will go towards:

• Medical expenses and recovery needs

• Rent and utilities

• Food and essentials for their daughter

• Transportation to treatment and appointments
