Help Carl get to the Masters RL World Cup

Hello my name is Carl Holmes, I play for the Ontario Greybeards, I am a Greybeards Board Member and Ontario Women’s Rugby League Assistant Coach. All this is voluntary work and I give my time gladly to help the growth of Rugby League in Ontario, Canada.

I have been picked in the inaugural Canada Grizzlies Squad that will be touring the UK and taking part in the Masters Rugby League World Cup Festival, The Festival takes place on Sunday 21st November, where if I can get there I will get the chance to earn 3 caps for my country. The problem is I have this once in a lifetime opportunity to represent my country at a sport that I love, but I am struggling financially to make this happen due to the impact of Covid, I had to take a 35% pay cut no deferral. This was done to save other people’s jobs and I would do the same again.

I am hoping that with a little help from some kind friends and strangers I will be able to realize my dream and make the tour.
