Hi. My name is Eileen and I am creating this fundraiser for my brother Carl, who had a stroke and needs assisted living, but can't afford it. For his safety, he needs to leave his home. He is falling a lot and on blood thinners. He is confused at times and can't be alone anymore.

Carl is an Air Force Veteran. Before this stroke, he played Taps in Honor Guard almost every day at military funerals, Veterans Day in DC at the Vietnam Memorial and also Gettysburg.

He is trying for VA assisistance, but that's a very lengthy process and not in time to keep him safe.
