Help Carissa's Family Stay in Their Home

- My name is Amber, and I am trying to help my friend and coworker Carissa and her family stay in her home. She is a very strong, proud and stubborn woman and has a hard time asking for help, but has agreed to let her friends help her. She is divorced from a man that refuses to pay child support for her girls, and also has a son and new baby girl with her partner, she works in the medical field, spending most of her time caring for other people's family at her job and then trying to take care of her own with what little time and energy she has left each day,but has suffered multiple health issues for past several months before recently having an unexpected csection with her new baby girl. She is also a veteran and served our country only to get no help...her and her partner have several children together as a blended family. They are both hard working people and with all the time she had to be off work during the pregnancy, it has proven to be difficult for them to plan financially for the time she is required to be off to heal before returning to work. This has put a strain on them being able to get caught up on their bills and rent are falling behind. She is so stressed that she can't even fully enjoy this beautiful gift of her new baby.I know this is a tough time financially for everyone, but if you could donate to help them we would be ever so blessed and grateful and if you can't, we ask you to at least share this with others.
