Carissa is a mother who has been through more hardship than anyone should face. She recently gave birth under unimaginable circumstances and is currently in jail — not because she poses a danger to society, but because she has nowhere to go (News Story). We want Carissa to have access to housing so she has somewhere safe to go.

Right now, her freedom depends on one thing: a safe place to live.

We have reached out to community resources, including local shelters and housing agencies, but like so many areas, Logan is facing overwhelming demand. These systems, while critical, simply do not have the capacity to meet every urgent need — and Carissa has been left with no available options.
