Our Incredibly smart, beautiful, and badass friend Carissa needs our help as she fights Stage Four Hodgkin's Lymphoma. With our support, we can help cushion the cost of fighting this illness so Carissa can focus on healing physically and emotionally. Carissa's mother, who took time off work to care for Carissa, also helps take care of Carissa's daughter, River. With Carissa starting chemo soon we know she has the strength to beat this but we as a community can assist by donating some funds to help support her and her family during this obviously stressful time. All of the funds donated will go towards medically related costs that aren't covered by insurance which builds up monthly, supporting River and Carissa's mom and to help Carissa get back on her feet once she beats this thing. Carissa has always been the type of person who shows up for those in need without the expectation of anything in return and it's time the community shows up for her.
