Help Carissa Jury

My name is Jessica, I am a friend and former co-worker of Carissa Jury. I am initiating this Go Fund Me on behalf of Carissa and Anthony Jury. Carissa is a loving, kind and thoughtful person and would be the first to offer help and assistance to others in a time of need. Now, I am asking others to help her, please. Anthony, Carissa's husband, was a school bus driver for JCPS for the last 8 years- a job we all know cannot be easy. He always had a smile and he loved Carissa very much, this was evident to all. In May 2023 he fell ill for 2 weeks with COVID. He went to the hospital and was admitted for 4 days. They were told it had settled in his heart and lungs and he developed Congestive Heart Failure. His heart's ejection fraction (amount of blood the heart pumps with each heartbeat) was 20%. Anthony stopped eating salt, was exercising and doing everything he could to build his strength. He would go to the heart failure clinic weekly, was taking a cominbination of 5 medications to improve his heart's function. His labs were looking well, cholesterol was normal and he had a heart cathetrization last Monday which showed normal arteries. By all accounts, Anthony was improving, joking around and feeling a little like himself again. Last night, Thursday June 29th, sitting on the couch watching TV with Carissa without warning his eyes rolled back, he went into a ventricular rhythm. Carissa being an experienced ER nurse, immediately pulled him onto the ground and started CPR. She called 911. Anthony could not be revived. Anthony was just 32 years old. To add to this misfortune, Carissa had a miscarriage while Anthony was in the hospital last month. They have no living children. I am asking for any donations to help Carissa plan and prepare to lay Anthony to rest, for future expenses and any further financial burden she might encounter in this time of uncertainty. This was most unexpected and she will need all the help she can get.
